Export, import & edit several Plugnotes with Excel

Export & Edit

The existing Plugnotes in your folder will be available in Excel mode and you will be able to edit the table in Excel and then import it back into our tool

  • On the Plugnotes home page, select one of your Plugforms by clicking on "My Plugforms" located in the "Owner" column


  • Click on the ">" at the top of the page to see all the available options and then click on "Receive Import Template"

  • Another table will open and you can start to set up:
    1. Choose template: You can choose between 3 ways to receive your file: Receive the import table by email; Receive the import table of tables by email; Receive by email the import table of pre-completed fields.
    2. Recipient (s): Enter the email you would like to send the file
    3. Cc: Enter an email address in case you want to send a copy to someone
    4. Subject: Choose a subject
    5. Message: Type the text content
    6. Send: Click on "Send" at the end of the page
    7. Ok: To confirm, click "OK". 

  • An email has been sent with the Excel template (please, do not forget to check your SPAM box). Now, you will be able to edit the table in Excel and then import it back to our tool!



Note: Do not make changes to the header message, or spreadsheet title, and do not delete any lines. Everything you will enter in the folder will be imported as Plugnotes and note that every line of your table will represent a Plugnotes in your folder. Please also note that you have indications showing which type of data is expected for each field, in case, the data does not match the particularities, your data won't be saved in Plugnotes.

Import

In case you created a folder within Plugnotes and you want to import some of your existing tables, it is possible!

  • On the Plugnotes home page, select one of your Plugforms by clicking on "My Plugforms" located in the "Owner" column

 

  • Click on the ">" at the top of the page to see all the available options and then click on "Load Import Template"


  • Another table will open and you can start to set up:
    1. Choose template: You can choose between 3 ways to receive your file: Receive the import table by email; Receive the import table of tables by email; Receive by email the import table of pre-completed fields
    2. Choose the file:  Choose the Excel file that you would like to import
    3. Import: Press import to send the file


    4. Confirmation Email: You will receive an email from Plugnotes with the confirmation (please, do not forget to check your SPAM box)
