Zapier Introduction

To make your life easier, you can integrate your Plugnotes with Zapier. Doing so can be done very easily and helpful!

The connection can allow you to automate many different processes which will save you time and possible errors. For example, it can send out a Slack message with certain information from a form each time one is submitted. This removes the need to check your account all the time for submission and to find the information you need. The combination possibilities are endless and will help with a large variety of tasks.

This automated action is called a Zap and can greatly help in reducing the time spent on projects. With Zapier, creating a zap requires no code and is easy to do.

In order to modify or create a Zap, you need to use the Zap editor. Once you start using the Zap editor you will need to choose an app, a web service, and a trigger for it. A trigger is what causes a Zap to take place, for example, an email is sent. Once the trigger is set off the Zap follows certain actions. These can be anything from creating a Google Calendar date to creating a new form entry.

Once the zap is on it will check the app at different times to see if it needs to complete its actions. These can be instantaneous or take a few minutes and are called polling intervals.

Altogether there is not a lot of technical lingoe to know in order to use the service.
